There are rumblings that Google advertising may become involved with the mobile market and its possible applications just as it has done with email, word processing and other initatives.
In actual fact Google has had this in mind for a long time. Google already offer a web based version of Gmail (which I use) and even offers mobile ads as part of its pay per click offering. This report indicates that some technologists dont believe that this will come to anything. I however see no reason why Google cant break into themobile market and offer leading mobile phone and more to the point mobile applications. Who knows what this could entail but perhaps a gps version of Google Maps (that would be awesome!) for example?                |
