The problem with web designers

Our belief is that a web site is always a sales tool and making it a great sales tool is more important than aesthetics or design.
9 times out of 10 we will not work on a ppc campaign until the client has changed certain elements of their web site to increase the chances of the site generating a sale or lead (conversion).


Making it easy to buy or enquire and similarly giving the site user a reason to buy or enquire is the key. For example I know from experience that sites that rely on a contact us page for enquiries will get 300% less enquiries than a site with an enquiry form on the home page or every page (like our site). This means that in terms of a ppc campaign the cost per enquiry (conversion) will be 300% more. Your average web designer wouldnt of though of that! There are many other very simple techniques that can be used.
